Boy it shur is cold here,,,,,,,I am not going to let my long hair come off for awhile !! Me and Huckleberry visited with all the kids at Madelia, Minn last week …and talked bout our trip up from Texas and life in the woods on the road …..I showed off my pack and how I lay down with Huckleberry to rest at nite …We met a nice Basque Girl, Daniella  along the road .she was traveling form Nevada to visit her grandmother in Minneapolis …Her wagon was broken down so we helped her fix her wagon, and Huckleberry got to ride  while I followed along …She had some Basque sweet bread that made good treats for me …..She came along with us to Madelia and talked with the kids there about Basque life and herding their sheep and cattle, and gave a demonstration with her whips !!! Boy I know that this Burro will mind his business around her !! She is pretty handy with those whips …..well its a nice sunny day here and my friends here at the Durava Trailhead are goin to be gettin me out to be brushed and eat some grass……Thanks to my Burro Fairy for recording this for me ,,,,purty hard to write with little hooves ….
